Jeffrey T. Becker is the chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Jennison Associates LLC. He joined Jennison in October 2016 to lead the firm as its fourth CEO.  Jennison was one of the original independent institutional money managers, founded in 1969. The firm has distinguished itself in the industry for more than 50 years by delivering investment excellence and developing long term partnerships with clients that often span decades.  Prior to joining Jennison, Jeff was the chief executive officer of Voya Investment Management, the asset management subsidiary of Voya Financial. While at Voya, Jeff was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Voya’s asset management business, including institutional, retail funds, retirement, and proprietary portfolio segments. From 2009 to 2013, Jeff was the chief executive officer of ING Investment Management Americas responsible for ING’s investment activities in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America; and prior to that, he held various executive positions with the firm including vice chairman, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer. From 1998 until 2002, Jeff was chief financial and administrative officer of Aeltus Investment Management. Prior to joining Aeltus, Jeff was the chief credit officer for Aetna’s Real Estate Investment Group. Before joining Aetna in 1994, Jeff was a senior manager in Arthur Andersen’s financial consulting practice. He received a BA in economics from Colgate University and an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
